No matter what people say about punk, we have to admit that punk music is the kind of music that let normal people express what they want to. Ramones wasn't just a punk band. The essential band was formed by four madmen, every one of them with different problems and sickness. It is pretty impossible to believe that two of them didn't speak each other for almost 20 years, the reasons: Politic views and a woman. Joey Ramone has become a hero, a very special one, unluckily he was already dead when he got into the hall of fame. The original band ended its career in 1996.
Nowadays punk it's different, some bands are excessively depressive, others are excessively aggressive and others are excessively commercial. Maybe the essential dream of punk that every person in the world could make music is quite lost.
By now here you have three of those wonderful Ramones' songs. The first is a rarity: Baby I love you (dedicated to my girlfriend), the second, another ballad: Needles and pins and the third one the incredible Pinhead. Just: one! two! three! four! Gabba gabba hey!!!
